Touring around Old Montreal (Vieux Montreal) and the Old Port (Vieux Port) today. We started at the Old Port and walked down the wharfside to Rue Saint Pierre, then turned up into town. Along the Place D'Youville past the obelisk commemorating the founders of Montreal, to the history museum. Harry went up to the overlook in the museum tower to take pictures. Then we went up a small side street to Rue Saint Paul and heading east to Rue Saint Sulplice and north to the Notre Dame Basilica and Place D'Armes. East on Rue Notre Dame past the City Hall to Place Jacques Cartier and south back down to Rue Saint Paul, the Bon Secours Market, and Bon Secours Church. Then home to the marina. What a great walking tour!

Afternoon relaxing on the boat, happy hour with Jeff & Tom from Gavia (a sailboat from Wisconsin which we met in the Locks and joined us in the marina), then our first poutine of the trip on the terrace at Montreal Poutine. Super yum.
