On Monday morning, as soon as the lock opened, we were thru lock O8. There was one boat ahead of us at Oswego Marina for mast-stepping, our friends from Montreal on Visionaire. We tied up along the wall and waited a bit. The mast stepping was done quickly and professionally by a 2-person crew and Harry, and a tiny bit of help from Kati.

Then, all the cleanup work - reconnecting everything that was disconnected to take the mast down, putting sails and the boom on, etc.

Kati and Bruce took the opportunity in the afternoon to wander around Fort Ontario, which is near the marina. Unfortunately, the fort is closed Mondays and Tuesdays so we can't tour the inside.
