We had gorgeous weather and some chores to get done so we stuck around in Provincetown.

A little less than a mile walk thru cute side streets got us to the Stop n Shop supermarket and the laundromat. A thieving washing machine ate $1.00 worth of quarters, charging me $6.50 instead of the posted $5.50 for the huge load. Of course I only had $6 in quarters but I bartered 2 detergent pods to another customer for the 2 quarters needed. Thank God they weren't eaten and the machine turned on!

Grocery shopping during the wash cycle, then hanging out during the dry. Then back to the boat, with some more window-shopping on Commercial Street along the way.

Lunch, then back on shore to mail a post card and stroll along the town beach. Then back to the boat. Harry wanted to dive down and look at the boat's bottom, rudder, prop, and keel, so I also swam for moral support. He only stayed in long enough for his inspection, but I really enjoyed it and stayed in a bit longer. It was cold, about 69 - 70 degrees, but this is as good as it gets up here. Hopefully it will be warmer and we can do some ocean waves body surfing on Block Island.

Evening walk for ice cream after dinner. We love this town!
