Dawn joined us for a glorious day sail starting and ending at the Portland Yacht Club at Falmouth Foreside.

Here's the 31 mile route:

• Sailed off our mooring...
• Spinnaker - Northeast toward the top of Casco Bay.
• Spinnaker - Southeast around the bottom of Harpswell
• Close-hauled w the big jib - South to the outside of Jewell Island and out into the Atlantic.
• Lunch next to Cushing Island. Close encounter with an ocean sunfish. See the pics. It was a small one but still really cool to see.
• Motored - Northwest to South Portland to get fuel and water at South Port Marina (Hi Mandy!)
• Spinnaker - Northeast back to PYC to pick up our mooring under sail!

Wow. Clear, beautiful, sunny, warm and great sailing.
